"China Water Week": Water resources development and Harmonious society
The Ministry of Water Resources has issued the propaganda theme for commemorating 2007 "World Water Day" and 2007 "China Water Week" is "water resources development and harmonious society".
March 22, 2007 is the 15th "World Water Day" and the starting date of 20th "China Water Week". The guiding theme of "World water Day" decided by the U.N. for this year is "Coping with Water Scarcity".
On March 22, 2007, the Ministry of Water Resources will hold a symposium involving the representatives from NPC Agricultural Committee, NPC Environmental and Resources Protection Committee, legality Office of State Council, the related Ministries of State Council, National Office for Law Popularization, the related departments of MWR and experts, etc.
